A point of sale for hardware: by the piece, the kilo or the metre.

Each item sells in its own unit, quantities can be fractions, and a box sold whole comes off the stock count piece by piece. Fundis you know buy on account, up to the limit you set.

Sold the way you sell it

Set each item’s unit: a piece, a kilo, a metre, a bag. The cashier types the quantity, 2.5 for two and a half kilos, and the till prices it.

A box of nails or a roll of wire can be a bulk unit of the item, with its own price, so selling the box takes the right number of pieces off the count.

One-off items

An odd size or a cut to length doesn’t need adding to the stock list first: ring it up as an open item with a name and a price, and it goes on the receipt and into the day’s sales.

Fundi and contractor accounts

Sell on account to the fundis and contractors you know, each with a credit limit. A credit sale that would take them past it is stopped until they pay or you raise the limit, and their statement goes out as a PDF or on WhatsApp.

Trade and retail prices

Each item can carry a retail and a wholesale price, switched in one tap, and a lower price from a quantity you choose.

Stock and suppliers

Every delivery, sale and stock count is recorded against the item, with who made it, and items running low are flagged. On Pro and Chain, order from suppliers and buy on credit.
